The LifeCell is a flotation device that stores all your essential safety gear such as flares, air horn/whistle, torch, EPIRB (mounts on case externally), heliograph/mirror etc in one place. There is also room for your wallet, keys, medicines, phone, sun cream, a hand held VHF radio and drinking water. The contents are all kept dry and safe in the Life Cell’s compartment ready for an emergency. Mounted in an easily accessible location on board, the Life Cells mounting bracket is designed to allow the unit to float free in the event of a vessel sinking and, once the vessel has been abandoned, the Life Cell helps to keep up to 4 people together in the water as it comes with lanyards to secure users to the Life Cell in the case of fatigue or high seas.
